Hardee Barn

Today was an exciting day for the Alabama Barn Quilt Trail! We enlisted the help of some of our newest volunteers. We would like to thank Darliene Carter for starting the painting process on a brand new barn quilt block we will add to the trail very soon. We would also like to thank Brenda and Russ Gunnels for helping us install these four gorgeous barn quilt blocks on this barn. Our latest barn quilt family is Ralph and Linda Hardee. Linda asked us to replicate blocks from three of her favorite family heirloom quilts. We are always happy to work with an old family quilt and bring it to life again! And thanks to the Alabama State Council on the Arts for their generous support!
