Located in Cookeville, this waypoint along the Quilt Trail is part of Putnam County, within the Upper Cumberland Tennessee region.

MAIN INFORMATION

Woodrow & Edna Jackson Family bought their farm from Walter Bowman in 1964. Since that time, he has added to his acreage through a purchase of two other farms. Mr. Jackson grew up in Sand Springs, one of ten children.

The school and teacher involved were Baxter Cornerstone Middle School & Mrs. Janis Nunnally.

Grandma's Flower Basket design derived from Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern, central hexagons, and rows of hexagons surrounding. This pattern was the most popular after 1925 and during the Depression Era.
