Hunting Creek Vineyards

Home to six individual Barn Quilt pieces, Hunting Creek Vineyards is a must see stop along the trail.  A place where you can sit back enjoy a glass of wine and view the Trail pieces.  The owner selected her pieces based on the Freedom Trail/Underground Railroad. Each piece tells a story or provides direction.

Crossroads - Is a very personal piece for the owner.  It signifies reaching a point where a person's life will change, so one must be willing to go on.

Wagon Wheel - Load the wagon or prepare to board the wagon to being the escape.

Drunkard's Path - Create a zig-zag path, do not walk in a straight line to avoid pursuers in the area.

Bowtie - Time to form a relationship with someone that can help.  Or put on a disguise or change of clothes.

Shoo-fly -A liason, a friendly guide who is nearby and can help.
