MAIN INFORMATION

Wendy Leedy is the region's premier pen and ink artist. She has owned and operated The Frame House on her farm in Bean Station since 1980.

Raised a city girl in Chattanooga, Wendy Leedy was always interested in art and horses. She graduated from Brainerd High School with honors, the University of Tennessee with a degree in Commercial Art, and was the only one in her graduating class to have an art position upon graduation. It was her interestin horses and art that opened doors for her. She served as art director for The Voice of the Tennessee Walking Horse magazine. Her first published art work appeared on the cover of that magazine. Wendy moved to Bean Station in the '70s, where she continued to draw, adding historical buildings to her portfolio. She has more than 60 published calenders to her credit. She has won awards in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, and Morristown for her artwork and now keeps busy filling commissioned orders.
