Located in Cookeville, this waypoint along the Quilt Trail is part of Putnam County, within the Upper Cumberland Tennessee region.

MAIN INFORMATION

The Bilbrey Brother's Farm is currently being operated as a cattle order, buying, and shipping station by brothers Bob Lee and Carl Bilbrey

Mrs. Dimple E. Burgess, grandmother of the Bilbrey Brothers, pieced and quilted President's Block prior to 1922. The quilt itself incorperated red, a favorite color of Mrs. Burgess', and brown. The brown fabric in the quilt was hand dyed using walnut stain. This pattern was also known as Santa Fe and Dolly Madison's Star.
