The “Agnes” quilt square is named for Hoss’s late aunt Agnes. She was the only one to ever give him a quilt as a gift. He lost the quilt in a house fire in Nov. 2008.

Uncle Hoss and Aunt Ann and family moved to Monterey from Florida. Uncle Hoss opened up the business in Jan., 2007. Uncle Hoss is know for his juicy tender pork ribs and pulled pork.
