Back in the 1970's there were many artists that had moved into the Clinch Valley community from various places. Some of the artists did craft shows, some sold out of their homes. Others just bartered. As time went on, they realized they should do something more.

We promote the work of Artisans and Craftspeople in the East Tennessee Region. we strive to educate our community about the importance of the Arts. It is our objective to promote the economic development of the region through its artwork and cultural heritage.
We operate as a co-operative with each artist working a day at the gallery - we also sponsor events in our "Bay" area and offer classes for many of our arts. New artists are welcome.
