Gerald and Jana Barrett feel very blessed to be located between Grundy County Seat, Altamont and history rich Beersheba Springs. Visit the second week each July and participate in the Cumberland Folk School at Laurel Leaf Studio where people from all walks of life come to learn drawing, watercolor, creative writing, drama, sign language, comfort dolls, and stepping stones. The studio is also near the trail to Greeter Falls where hiking takes you Piney Creek in virgin forest land.   There are several GEO-CACHE sites around Altamont as well.
