What is a Sponsor?

Sponsors have the option to support the AQT through other means than hosting a quilt square. Your donations, gifts and partnerships keep the trail’s mission alive by making it possible to add more stops and thus improve visitors’ experiences along the trail and bring more tourism dollars into the area and improve the quality of life for locals. Your sponsorship is a very important part of the trail, but it also has benefits for your business or organization. These benefits vary depending on sponsorship levels and participation, which is broken down below.

Can I be a Square Host and a Sponsor?

Yes! Your sponsorship can go above and beyond hosting a square. See the breakdown below for sponsorship opportunities and levels:

Time/Skills donation: If you are a talented painter or simply know how to stay in the lines, you might consider painting and donating a square for a nearby site that is approved for the trail but lacks the resources to paint their own.

Materials donation: Many supplies are needed in the constructing, painting and installing process. Your donation of board, frame wood, paint, brushes, etc, will help the trail and enable great heritage sites that may not have the resources otherwise to be a part of the trail.

Monetary donation: The AQT welcomes and gifts to the program and puts 100% of these donations back into the trail via materials and supplies purchases, promotional materials and website development. Your donation will be greatly appreciated by the AQT and those along the trail. To show our appreciation, the following breakdown lists the rewards for the various sponsorship levels.

Basic sponsorship level: $75 donation per year

• reward: Your website link will appear on our website in a basic listing.

Basic plus: $150 donation per year

• reward: Your link will be accompanied by basic information (200 characters) about your business/organization.

Visual sponsorship:

• Contact AQT about opportunities to receive visual recognition for your sponsorship. Options include:

Print Media: In areas where the AQT has become entrenched, various levels of sponsorship by members of the business community may be recognized by inclusion in our print media for your area such as AQT maps distributed at visitor centers, brochures, or vacation planning guides.

Website Imagery: Tell the world you support the trail with a 160x600 or 300x300 or 468x60 pixel image posted on the website.
